On June 6, Perkz, a professional player in the LEC division, officially announced his retirement on his personal social media.

Perkz reached the semi-finals of the World Finals three times in his career, and 2019 was the peak of Perkz's career, when Perkz's G2 team won the MSI Championship and reached the finals of the World Finals that year, but lost to their opponents in the finals to finish as runners-up.

After leaving G2, Perkz moved to C9 and helped C9 win the LCS title, becoming one of the few players to have won the league title in both regions.

At the moment, Perkz has not revealed specific plans after retirement.
