JDG's new roster debuted with a crushing defeat! The coach's abilities are once again under scrutiny, and Scout's poor performance has sparked controversy.

In the LPL's third segment, JDG played against IG in a BO3, suffering a 0-2 defeat in a disappointing debut. This was not just the first match for the new players but also the coach's first game. Regrettably, the performance was poor, and the results were not good, resulting in significant controversy post-match.

First, JDG's official social media was inundated with comments, with fans criticizing: the best performer on the team was top laner Xiaoxu, which highlights the team's main problem! Some fans acknowledged: they are all second-rate players now, with perhaps the AD having some potential; the overall level of this team is not high. Instead of blaming the draft, it's better to say the players are underperforming. Furthermore, some fans directly pointed fingers at Scout: he is really struggling now, his level has significantly declined, and he has been performing poorly all year.

Following the match, LPL commentators Guan Zeyuan and Cat discussed the reasons behind JDG's defeat. They noted: in the first game, JDG faced significant challenges in the draft, making coordination difficult; however, the second game's draft was quite good, representing the simplest composition in LPL. If they couldn't perform well, it's not fair to blame the coach. They had an early advantage but failed to capitalize on it, which is a major issue. JDG currently has significant operational problems; one can clearly see that teamfight execution and positioning are problematic, such as Wink's positioning, and sometimes the dual carries also have issues. In the first game, JDG had a defensive composition but couldn't hold it together, while in the second game they had an aggressive setup but still couldn't secure the win, which is quite disappointing.

The key issue for JDG is the poor synergy among the five players, as it seems everyone is playing their own game. This is a common problem after changing players. The dual carries, Scout and Peyz, both showed carelessness leading to being caught out, standing incorrectly without vision or teammates. JDG has just completed their roster changes and needs time to refine their teamwork. They will have another chance to face IG in the third segment, and hopefully, after some adjustments, they can seek revenge. Currently, with the new players and coach, there hasn't been a noticeable change.

As for IG, the jungler Wei, who was previously a concern, has gained considerable support after these matches. In the games against JDG, he earned MVP in both matches, with his Troll maintaining relentless pressure in the first game. In the second game, despite IG lacking rhythm, Wei effectively found opportunities in mid to late-game teamfights, showcasing excellent initiation and opportunity-seeking skills, making him look like a war god with Jarvan.

During the post-match interview, Wei immediately expressed gratitude to his teammates, stating that Meiko always calls him to check for good opportunities, and he follows up on those calls. Finally, when discussing his own state, Wei mentioned: he is still not fully adapted to the team and has much to learn from his teammates.
