In the third segment of the LPL, after a best-of-three match between JDG and TES, TES triumphed over JDG with a score of 2-1, claiming their 8th win!
In the first game, JDG had Ornn in the top lane, Pantheon in the jungle, Azir in the mid lane, and Varus with Galio in the bot lane; TES featured Rumble in the top lane, Jarvan IV in the jungle, Orianna in the mid lane, and Jhin with Alistar in the bot lane. During the laning phase, TES gained momentum, successfully ganking Xiaoxu's Ornn in the top lane for first blood by JKL, and executing a 4v2 play in the bot lane, taking down the first bot tower, leading TES to a 2K gold advantage early on.
In the mid-game, after TES secured a dragon, they killed Scout's Azir. Following that, in a team fight, Hang's Alistar initiated the front line, while JDG lacked damage, resulting in TES achieving a 1-for-4 trade and taking down the Rift Herald. After 25 minutes, TES killed Peyz's Varus and secured the first Baron. Later, at 31 minutes, TES captured the Elder Dragon, and finally, at 33 minutes, Xiaoxu's Ornn was caught out, leading TES to take the second Baron. With 369's Rumble flanking, TES wiped out JDG and claimed victory in the first game. The highest damage in this game was dealt by JKL's Jhin.
In the second game, JDG had K'Sante in the top lane, Xin Zhao in the jungle, Azir in the mid lane, and Lucian with Braum in the bot lane; TES featured Sion in the top lane, Rek'Sai in the jungle, Taliyah in the mid lane, and Sivir with Rell in the bot lane. During the laning phase, Kanavi's Rek'Sai successfully ganked and killed TES's bot lane duo, giving Kanavi first blood. Following this, Kanavi's pace accelerated, with continuous successful ganks in the jungle, starting 6-0, and TES was 1K gold behind in the early game.
In the mid-game, Xiaoxu's K'Sante was caught and killed in the jungle, and then Scout's Taliyah was also controlled and eliminated. After TES secured the Rift Herald, a chaotic fight ensued, with Xiaoxu's K'Sante respawning to assist, along with Scout's Azir. They managed to kill two TES players. At 24 minutes, Hang's Rell stole the Elder Dragon, but JDG won the ensuing team fight decisively. Scout's Azir pushed back JKL's Sivir, and after JDG killed three TES players, they took the first Baron. Ultimately, at 30 minutes, TES attempted to invade JDG's jungle to catch Xun's Xin Zhao, but Xun's ultimate cleared the area, and JDG's reinforcements rushed in, killing JKL's Sivir and achieving a 0-for-5 wipe of TES, securing victory in the second game. The MVP went to Scout's Azir.
In the third game, TES had Gnar in the top lane, Nayah's Phyllis in the jungle, Annie in the mid lane, and Rumble with Rena'ta in the bot lane; JDG featured Renekton in the top lane, Monkey King in the jungle, Viktor in the mid lane, and Corki with Bard in the bot lane. During the laning phase, JDG won a team fight in the top lane, killing JKL's Rumble, with Xiaoxu's Renekton securing first blood. Subsequently, JDG took down the first top tower, and Xun's Monkey King solo killed Creme's Annie, securing the Rift Herald, with both teams having nearly equal gold in the early game.
In the mid-game, both teams contested the dragon, and Peyz's Corki was heavily damaged, allowing TES to secure the Electric Dragon soul. At 26 minutes, JDG took down the Rift Herald, while TES exchanged it for the first Baron. At 28 minutes, after TES destroyed the second tower in the top lane, Creme's Annie initiated a fight with a Flash, scattering JDG's formation. After Scout's Viktor was eliminated quickly, JDG lacked damage, and TES wiped out JDG, claiming victory in the match.
