IG makes a comeback to defeat BLG! Gala's Kai'Sa dominates, and IG turns the tide with incredible teamfights.

In the third stage of the LPL, IG and BLG battled in a BO3. After three intense games, IG pulled off a comeback to win the series 2-1 against BLG!

In the first game, BLG drafted Rumble top, Pantheon jungle, Ahri mid, and Rakan with Xayah bot; IG responded with Ornn top, Jarvan IV jungle, Annie mid, and Sivir with Neeko bot. Early on, both junglers converged top for a 3v3 fight, where BLG secured a 2-for-0, eliminating IG's jungle and support. Later, a 4v4 skirmish at dragon saw BLG come out ahead again, trading 3-for-1. BLG claimed the Rift Herald in the early game and built up a 3K gold lead.

In the mid game, BLG used the Rift Herald to take down the first mid turret and then secured the Hextech Drake. At 29 minutes, IG caught Knight's Ahri in the top lane, then engaged in the jungle where meiko’s Neeko landed a three-man ultimate. Although IG eliminated ELK's Xayah, bin’s Rumble unleashed massive damage with a perfect ultimate, allowing BLG to counterattack, kill four IG members, and secure the first Baron. IG, after respawning, claimed the soul point dragon. At 36 minutes, Theshy's Ornn missed his ultimate in a mid lane engage, BLG turned it around to kill Theshy's Ornn, then pushed down IG's mid and bot inhibitors and also took the soul point dragon. At 38 minutes, Rookie's Annie caught bin's Rumble in mid, and IG took him down. BLG tried to initiate, but ELK’s Xayah was instantly killed, allowing IG to secure their second Baron. At 41 minutes, wei’s Jarvan IV flanked and helped his team eliminate ELK’s Xayah, followed by the death of shadow’s Pantheon, and IG secured the Ocean Soul. At 44 minutes, BLG quickly took their second Baron, but IG chased them down, wiped out BLG, and won the first game. Gala’s Sivir had the highest damage for IG, while Bin’s Rumble led BLG in damage.

In game three, IG picked Gnar top, Poppy jungle, Ryze mid, and Kai’Sa with Rell bot; BLG selected Renekton top, Sejuani jungle, Cassiopeia mid, and Corki with Nautilus bot. During the laning phase, BLG sent three members to dive and kill Gala’s Kai’Sa, but ON’s Nautilus was traded in return. Early on, BLG took down the first top turret and gained a 1K gold lead.

In the mid game, IG managed to secure the Hextech Drake while BLG was pushing mid. At 25 minutes, BLG forced a Baron fight, instantly killed wei’s Poppy, and after taking out meiko’s Rell, secured the first Baron. In the late game at 31 minutes, both teams fought for dragon control, but IG held their formation and claimed the dragon. Gala’s Kai’Sa dove in and cleaned up, and IG, after a miraculous teamfight, wiped out BLG and secured the match victory.
