Right after winning the Premier League Pool championship, Dương Quốc Hoàng headed to Las Vegas, USA, to join teammates Bùi Xuân Vàng and Phạm Phương Nam in representing Team Vietnam at the Predator WPA Teams 10-Ball World Championship 2026.
This is the World Championship for the 10-ball team event, gathering the strongest billiards nations worldwide. The tournament runs from February 24 to 27, 2026, featuring 10-ball pool team matches (combining singles and mixed doubles). On February 25, Vietnam faced the Netherlands in the opening match.
During the match held in Las Vegas, the three Vietnamese representatives displayed high-level performance, excellent teamwork, and composure under the pressure of this prestigious international competition.
In the opening set, all three Vietnamese players started confidently. Precise shots, smart tactics, and smooth turn exchanges allowed the team to quickly dominate the game. The 4-1 score clearly showed Vietnam's superiority over the European opponents.
In the second set, the close teammates Dương Quốc Hoàng and Phạm Phương Nam experienced tense moments. After a thrilling back-and-forth, the Vietnamese duo showed timely resilience to win 4-3, pushing the overall score to 2-0.
The final set saw a notable lineup change. The team’s strongest player stepped aside to rest after consecutive tournaments, letting two juniors take the stage. Nevertheless, Dương Quốc Hoàng and Phạm Phương Nam did not disappoint their senior and fans. With confident and effective play, the pair sealed the match with a convincing 4-1 win, finalizing the overall score at 3-0 for Vietnam.

Each team consists of 3 to 5 players, with 3 players competing per round: 2 of the same gender and 1 of the opposite gender.
The match structure includes:Set 3 – Mixed doubles: 1 male and 1 female player, race to 4;Set 5 – Penalty in case the two teams are tied.
