Bích Thuỳ topped the chart for the highest number of key passes made in the Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship, as reported by the event organizers.
The Vietnam women's team concluded the 2025 Southeast Asian Football Championship by securing third place overall. Although they did not reach the final, Coach Mai Đức Chung’s squad gave an impressive performance.
According to recent statistics from the organizers, midfielder Bích Thùy of the Vietnam women's team recorded the most key passes in the tournament with 12. Right behind her is Huỳnh Như, the team captain, with 11 key passes, making the duo top contenders in this important ranking.
Not only outstanding in creating chances, both players were also recognized with individual awards. Bích Thùy was named “Best Player of the Match” in the semifinals, while Huỳnh Như received honors in the third-place playoff.
Besides the two Vietnamese stars, the competition in this category was intense. Karnjanathat Phomsri (Thailand) also achieved 11 key passes, while Leticia McKenna (Australia) and Chandler McDaniel (Philippines) each recorded 10.
After the 2025 Southeast Asian Championship, the Vietnam women's team will continue to focus on their goal at the 33rd SEA Games, held in Thailand this December. The team’s objective is to successfully defend the gold medal they won at the previous event.
