The PVF Youth Football Training Center revealed that 10 players were selected for the Vietnam U18 squad.
The PVF Youth Football Training Center stated that 10 players under their management have been called up to the Vietnam U18 team. These include goalkeeper Phạm Huy Hoàng, defenders Lê Huy Việt Anh, Lê Minh Nhật, Nguyễn Quốc Khánh, Trần Gia Huy, midfielders Nguyễn Đức Nhật, Đào Quang Anh, forwards Hoàng Trọng Duy Khang, Nguyễn Văn Bách, and Nguyễn Sỹ Mạnh Dũng.
Among these names, Lê Huy Việt Anh, Nguyễn Đức Nhật, Hoàng Trọng Duy Khang, and Nguyễn Văn Bách participated with the Vietnam U17 team in the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup and performed quite impressively. Unfortunately, the Vietnam U17 team could not advance beyond the group stage, missing the chance to qualify for the U17 World Cup final tournament.
According to the latest update from Asean Football, the Vietnam U18 team will take part in the Seoul EOU Cup 2025 friendly tournament, held in Seoul, South Korea, from September 21 to 28. This annual event is organized by the Seoul Football Association in collaboration with the Korea Sports Agents Association and is regarded as one of Asia’s most prestigious competitions for young players.
Information from Asean Football indicates that the Vietnam U18 team will compete in the Seoul EOU Cup 2025 in Seoul, South Korea. This respected youth tournament will run from September 21 to 28.
This annual competition is jointly organized by the Seoul Football Association and the Korea Sports Agents Association. Besides Vietnam U18, seven other teams will participate, including U18 Johor Darul Ta’zim (Malaysia), U18 Buriram United (Thailand), U19 Zhejiang Professional (China), the U18 Seoul FA select team, the U18 K League select team, Gangneung Jungang High School, and the Kanto University select team (Japan).
So far, 15 players have been confirmed for the Vietnam U18 call-up. Before the 10 PVF players, Viettel Club also announced five players called up to the Vietnam U18 team: Nguyễn Hoàng Nam, Hoàng Văn Thái, Nguyễn Minh Kỳ, and Trần Hồng Kiên. The training camp will take place from August 25 to September 29.
