Damian Vũ Thanh An was highlighted by many Polish newspapers after scoring in his V-League debut.

Damian Vũ Thanh An, the Vietnamese-Polish player, made a remarkable debut in the 2025/26 V.League season with Thể Công Viettel by scoring against Công An TP.HCM on August 22.

Coach Velizar Popov brought him on in the 83rd minute against Công An TP.HCM, unexpectedly assigning him to play as a forward.

Just 2 minutes later, from a play started by goalkeeper Văn Việt, Damian took advantage of the opponent’s mistake, sprinted past the defender and goalkeeper Patrik Le Giang, and scored to double the lead.

Damian is a Vietnamese-Polish player, with a Vietnamese father and Polish mother. Born in 2003, he plays as an attacking midfielder and began his professional career in Poland at age 16.
