Polish-Vietnamese expatriates express gratitude to Vietnamese fans

On his 22nd birthday, young midfielder Damian Vũ Thanh An sent a heartfelt thank you to the Thể Công Viettel Club, his family, and especially Vietnamese football supporters.

On this special birthday, young midfielder Damian Vũ Thanh An could not hide his emotions as he shared a deep message of gratitude to the Thể Công – Viettel Club, teammates, family, and especially Vietnamese fans. His emotional post on his personal page quickly attracted attention and received much interest from the online community.

Damian wrote first in English before adding a message in Vietnamese: “A truly special day for me. Thank you to Thể Công – Viettel FC, thank you to my teammates. Grateful and loving my family in Poland and Vietnam. Thanks to all the fans for the great love and support you give us. Love you all.”

Right after posting, Damian’s message received countless interactions from Vietnamese football fans. Many supporters sent birthday wishes and expressed hope that he will shine even brighter wearing the Thể Công – Viettel jersey.

Damian’s simple yet heartfelt message shows the growing bond between the Vietnamese-Polish player and Vietnamese football. Though recently returned to play for Thể Công – Viettel, Damian has gradually won fans’ hearts with his modern, creative style and fierce fighting spirit.

Notably, Damian Vũ scored his first goal this V-League season in the recent match against CA TP HCM in round 2 of the V-League.

That was almost Damian’s first touch in the Viettel jersey, but it was enough to prove his great potential. Although his main position is defensive midfielder, when pushed forward, Damian still shows flexibility, opportunism, and superior physicality. His physique, speed, and intelligent play quickly won over fans in just 10 minutes on the field.
