Vinicius's teammate officially joins V-League

Marco Antonio, who previously played alongside Vinicius Jr. in Brazil’s U17 squad, has officially arrived in the V-League after signing a contract with PVF - CAND for the 2025/2026 campaign.

PVF - CAND club has officially signed and registered Brazilian midfielder Marco Antonio for the 2025/2026 V-League season. This is a quality addition to coach Thạch Bảo Khanh’s team, especially as the club aims for strong competition next season. With his talent and extensive experience, Marco Antonio is expected to be a key pillar in the team’s midfield.

Born in 2000, Marco Antonio is a 1.82m tall central midfielder known for his excellent skills and ball control. Before joining the V-League, he had an impressive career playing for major clubs in Brazil, including Cruzeiro, Goias, Operário-PR, Betim Futebol, and Floresta-CE. This marks his first time playing abroad, opening a new chapter in his career at the V-League.

Notably, Marco Antonio is not only a talented club player but also has international experience, having been a teammate of Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. in Brazil’s U17 team back in 2016. During his time with the U17 Brazil squad, he played 4 matches and scored 2 goals. This highlights his early promise at the youth national level and raises expectations for his contributions at PVF - CAND.
