The V-League is heating up, with VAR technology being used in all matches of Round 3.

All 7 matches in the third round of the 2025/26 V-League season will have VAR assistance.

From August 27 to 30, Round 3 of the 2025/26 V-League will continue across stadiums nationwide. After the first two rounds, there have been many surprises on the standings table, with the defending champions currently in 6th place and the top contender Hanoi FC struggling at the bottom without a win. Conversely, newcomer Ninh Binh is soaring at the top after two consecutive victories.

In Round 3, Hoang Duc’s team has a great chance to strengthen their lead as they visit SHB Da Nang, who have only earned 1 point from the first two rounds.

Another highlight match this round is the "capital derby" at Hang Day Stadium between CAHN and Hanoi FC. A resounding 3-0 win away against BHCMC has put coach Mano Polking’s team back in the title race with 4 points from 2 games. Meanwhile, Hanoi FC is still struggling to find their form after two frustrating rounds.

At Thien Truong Stadium, the reigning champions Thep Xanh Nam Dinh face pressure to win after an unexpected 1-2 loss to SLNA. However, this goal might not be too difficult as their opponent this round is only PVF-CAND.

Besides the matches mentioned, fans will also witness other exciting games such as Hong Linh Ha Tinh vs Thanh Hoa; Hai Phong vs SLNA; Cong An TPHCM vs HAGL; The Cong Viettel vs Becamex TPHCM.

Notably, VAR will be used in all 7 matches this round to provide maximum support to referees in critical situations. Previously, in Round 6, the match between Nam Dinh and SLNA was the only one without VAR.
