The Spanish coach remains modest about Ninh Bình FC's perfect winning streak.

Newcomer Ninh Bình FC has made a big surprise by winning all three opening rounds of the V-League 2025/26, scoring 10 goals and conceding only twice.

Their wins over Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh, Đông Á Thanh Hoá, and most recently SHB Đà Nẵng came under different circumstances, but the main common factor was their efficiency in finishing chances.

"Winning all three opening matches is not easy. We managed it through team cohesion, humility, and hard work. Đà Nẵng gave us a lot of trouble, especially in the first half. But we controlled the game better after halftime and took advantage of our opportunities more effectively.

"We will focus on the National Cup match against host Gia Định first, then think about the derby against Nam Định in round 4. Discipline, persistence, and the right attitude are the most important things right now," said Coach Gerard Albadalejo after the 3-1 victory over SHB Đà Nẵng in round 3 of the LPBank V-League 2025/26.

Meanwhile, captain Hoàng Đức said: "In this match, the team started a bit slowly and let the opponent score first. However, we quickly equalized. The secret to our three wins this season is determination and team spirit. SHB Đà Nẵng has always been a quality team with many good players. They started well and proved it with the first goal. I always respect every opponent.

After this game, the whole team will have a short break as some members join the U23 and national team camps. When everyone returns, Ninh Bình will prepare for the National Cup match against Gia Định before facing Nam Định in round 4. I think it will be a very exciting and anticipated match."

Hoàng Đức also expressed surprise about the preparation and pitch quality this season:

"In round 1, we played at Hà Tĩnh stadium, then at Ninh Bình, and now at Đà Nẵng. There is nothing to complain about the pitch quality. This year, the TV broadcast quality is also better and clearer, allowing fans to enjoy more beautiful football plays."

Regarding the home team SHB Đà Nẵng, despite having only 1 point after 3 rounds, coach Lê Đức Tuấn remains optimistic:

"Compared to last season, the current situation is not too bad. Just one win can completely change the situation.

We still lack persistence and experience, but the fighting spirit is worth acknowledging. Đà Nẵng will continue to improve to meet fans' expectations.

Currently, we only use one foreign striker, but I am considering using both to create more surprises."

After round 3, the V-League will take a three-week break for the Vietnam national team to prepare for the FIFA Days in September, playing friendlies against Nam Định club and CAHN. At the same time, the U23 Vietnam team will participate in the 2026 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers.
