CAHN receives great news from VPF

CAHN club is assisted with changing the match schedule to avoid excessive strain on the players.

After the September FIFA Days, CAHN faces a very tight match schedule across all competitions, with the police-affiliated team playing 5 times within just 15 days (from September 13 to September 28).

The challenge intensifies as Coach Mano Polking’s team must play three away games in quick succession. On September 18, CAHN flies to Beijing (China) to face Beijing Guoan in the AFC Cup 2. Then on September 21, the team has to travel to Pleiku to play away against HAGL. The long travel distance combined with the tight schedule threatens the players’ physical condition.

To facilitate CAHN’s participation in international competitions, VPF has adjusted the match schedule with HAGL. According to the latest schedule, the HAGL vs CAHN match will take place at 5:00 PM on December 18. This gives CAHN about 6 days of rest before hosting Cebu Club at the Shopee Cup on September 24.

This season, CAHN and Nam Dinh are the two teams competing in four tournaments (V-League, National Cup, Shopee Cup, and AFC Cup 2). Both teams have high ambitions across all competitions. Before the season, many quality foreign players joined CAHN and Nam Dinh. In fact, Nam Dinh could field a full lineup of 11 foreign players.

For CAHN, after some time building their style of play, Coach Mano Polking has helped the police team reach very high performance recently, defeating strong opponents like Nam Dinh and Hanoi.

In the AFC Cup 2, Hanoi Police are in Group E alongside Beijing Guoan (China), Taipo FC (Hong Kong), and Macarthur FC (Australia)..Meanwhile, in the Shopee Cup (Southeast Asian Club Cup), CAHN competes against strong teams such as BG Pathum, Buriram United, Selangor, and others.
