Bruno Fernandes rejects Ronaldo's offer

Bruno Fernandes is said to have turned down a direct call from Cristiano Ronaldo to move to Al Nassr.

According to TalkSPORT, Bruno Fernandes received up to three offers to leave Man Utd this summer, including one from Al Nassr with a personal appeal from Cristiano Ronaldo, but he rejected them all outright.

The Portuguese midfielder wants to stay at Old Trafford for at least one more season and prioritizes remaining in Europe to prepare for the 2026 World Cup. He has also confirmed that he will not consider any further proposals from the Saudi Pro League.

For many years, Fernandes has been a key figure for the "Red Devils." The club certainly does not want to lose their captain without a huge transfer fee, something the Saudi clubs are fully capable of paying.

Despite Man Utd's inconsistent performances, Bruno Fernandes remains a standout star and a player who can elevate any team he joins. At 30 years old, the Portuguese midfielder has no plans to follow Ronaldo to play in the Middle East.

In Man Utd’s most recent match, it was Bruno who scored from the penalty spot, securing the Red Devils' first Premier League win. The midfielder is expected to continue his leadership role and inspire his teammates in the challenging upcoming away game against Man City.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo holds significant influence at Al Nassr. After signing a two-year contract extension this summer, the Portuguese superstar was also granted greater authority in player recruitment.

This was evident when Jhon Duran, a high-profile signing from Aston Villa, left the club after only six months due to a lack of chemistry with CR7. Joao Felix was brought in as a replacement, and Ronaldo even attempted to persuade Fernandes to form a "Portuguese trio" in Al Nassr’s attack, but he was unsuccessful.
