World news predicts the score of the Vietnam vs Nepal match

Sportskeeda has offered analysis and forecasts about the result of the Vietnam national team’s game against Nepal in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying round.

Vietnam will host Nepal in Ho Chi Minh City as part of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, aiming to restore morale after a heavy defeat in the previous round. Earlier, the "Golden Star Warriors" started impressively by crushing Laos 5-0 but then suffered a 0-4 loss to Malaysia.

With the advantage of playing at home, coach Kim Sang Sik’s squad is clearly favored over their opponents. This has been confirmed by Sportskeeda when the outlet stated, "The Vietnam national team will dominate Nepal in the upcoming clash."

Specifically, Sportskeeda wrote in their analysis: "Although still affected by the heavy defeat to Malaysia, Vietnam possesses the resilience and quality to bounce back strongly, aiming for a victory over Nepal, a team that has hardly made any significant impact offensively and has shown defensive weaknesses.

We believe Vietnam will secure a full victory in this encounter."

Later, Sportskeeda boldly predicted that Vietnam would win 2-0 against the South Asian side.

This will be the third time Vietnam faces Nepal in the Asian Cup qualifiers. In the previous two meetings, the "Golden Star Warriors" won both matches: 5-0 in September 2003 and 2-0 in October 2003.

For Nepal, they have yet to earn any points in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers after losing to Malaysia and Laos. In their last five matches, coach Mo Ross’s team has only one win (against Singapore in a friendly), along with two losses and two draws.

As for Vietnam, facing Nepal, ranked 176th in the FIFA rankings, presents a perfect opportunity for the "Golden Dragons" to forget the bitter defeat to Malaysia in June and continue their pursuit of a spot in Asia’s premier tournament.

The match between Vietnam and Nepal will take place at 7:30 PM on October 9th.
