Transfermarkt updated Serie A player valuations on September 7th, showing that no player has a market value of 100 million euros, meaning Serie A lacks any 100-million-euro players among the big five leagues.

According to Transfermarkt data, there are 18 players in world football valued at 100 million euros or above, all coming from the top five leagues, more precisely from three leagues: 9 in the Premier League, 7 in La Liga, and 2 in the Bundesliga, with none in Serie A or Ligue 1.

Distribution of 100-million-euro players in football:

• Premier League (9 players): Haaland at 180 million euros, Saka at 150 million euros, Wirtz at 140 million euros, Palmer at 120 million euros, Rice at 120 million euros, Isak at 120 million euros, Rodri at 110 million euros, Foden at 100 million euros, McAllister at 100 million euros.
• La Liga (7 players): Jamal at 200 million euros, Mbappé at 180 million euros, Bellingham at 180 million euros, Vinícius at 150 million euros, Pedri at 140 million euros, Valverde at 130 million euros, Álvarez at 100 million euros.

The Premier League player valuations have not been updated yet. In my opinion, Chelsea midfielder Kays Ruiz-Atil, currently valued at 90 million euros, has performed exceptionally well this season.
