17 Vietnamese clubs participating in the National Third Division

The 2025 National Third Division football competition kicks off on October 26 with 17 teams competing.

The 2025 National Third Division football league will take place from October 26 to November 23, 2025, with 17 teams from across the country participating. This tournament is part of the national competition system, designed to provide experience and development opportunities for clubs and amateur teams, serving as a stepping stone towards the 2026 National Second Division season.

This season includes 17 teams: An Giang, Đồng Nai, Đồng Tháp, Hà Nội Bulls, Hoài Đức, Luxury Hạ Long, Phù Đổng FC, STP FOOD TP.HCM, Trẻ Becamex TP.HCM, Trẻ Công an Hà Nội, Trẻ Đắk Lắk, Trẻ Thống Nhất – TPG, Đào Hà Football Center, Hà Tĩnh Sports Training Center, Khánh Hòa Sports Training Center, Đồng Nai University of Technology, and Trường Giang – Gia Định.

The teams are divided into three groups:

Group A (hosted by Hoài Đức Football Joint Stock Company) includes: Hà Nội Bulls, Hoài Đức, Luxury Hạ Long, Phù Đổng FC, Đào Hà Football Center, and Trẻ Công an Hà Nội.

Group B (hosted by Đắk Lắk Sports Training Center) consists of: Trẻ Đắk Lắk, Trẻ Thống Nhất – TPG, Trẻ Becamex TP.HCM, Khánh Hòa Sports Training Center, and Hà Tĩnh Sports Training Center.

Group C (hosted by KENOS Joint Stock Company and Hóc Môn Cultural and Sports Service Center, Ho Chi Minh City) includes: An Giang, Đồng Nai, Đồng Tháp, Đồng Nai University of Technology, STP FOOD TP.HCM, and Trường Giang – Gia Định.

The groups will compete in a double round-robin format at centralized venues to accumulate points and rankings. The three group winners and the best runner-up will qualify for the 2026 National Second Division. If groups have unequal numbers of teams, results against the lowest-ranked team in the larger groups will be excluded when determining the best runner-up to ensure fairness in the number of matches played.

The draw for the match schedule will be held online at 10:00 AM on October 9, 2025. Technical meetings will take place on October 24 for Group A and October 25 for Groups B and C. The tournament venues are: Group A at Hoài Đức Stadium (Hanoi), Group B at Buôn Ma Thuột Stadium (Đắk Lắk), and Group C at Thới Tứ and Tân Hiệp fields (Hóc Môn, Ho Chi Minh City).
