The Vietnam National Team will take the field wearing their classic red kit in the game versus Nepal on the night of October 9th.
On the afternoon of October 8th, at the meeting room of Binh Duong Stadium (Go Dau), Thu Dau Mot ward, Ho Chi Minh City, a technical meeting was held ahead of the match between Vietnam and Nepal as part of the first leg of the final round of Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers (Group F), scheduled for 7:30 PM on October 9th.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Phu – General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation, Mr. Vu Duc Thanh – Co-Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation, match supervisors, referee supervisors, representatives from both Vietnam and Nepal teams, and members of the match organizing committee.
On behalf of the leadership of the Vietnam Football Federation, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu – General Secretary, welcomed the match officials and the Nepal team who arrived in Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the Asian Cup 2027 qualifying match against Vietnam. He expressed hope that the visiting team would quickly adapt to the weather in Vietnam and prepare well for the game.
Representing the local organizing committee at Go Dau Stadium, Thu Dau Mot ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Vu Duc Thanh – Co-Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation, stated that preparations for the match between Vietnam and Nepal have been thoroughly completed, including the quality of the playing field, security, and medical arrangements. Mr. Vu Duc Thanh wished both teams a successful match.
During the technical meeting, representatives of both teams were informed of several important match-related details. Accordingly, the Vietnam team will wear their traditional red uniforms.
Also on the same afternoon, the head coach and selected players are scheduled to attend a pre-match press conference at 4 PM in the press room of Go Dau Stadium, followed by a one-hour training session to familiarize themselves with the playing field.
The match between Vietnam and Nepal will kick off at 7:30 PM at Binh Duong Stadium (Go Dau) and will be broadcast live on the VFF Channel YouTube, FP T Play, and VTV.
