Premier League player valuations updated: Chelsea produces a new 100 million euro defensive midfielder, while two Manchester City players drop out of the 100 million euro club

On October 17th, German Transfermarkt refreshed Premier League player prices, with last season’s silver boot Isak increasing to 140 million euros, Chelsea’s defensive midfielder Kessie climbing to 100 million euros, creating a new 100 million euro midfielder in the Premier League. However, two major Manchester City players’ values plunged by 20 million euros, dropping the club’s 100 million euro players by two.

Latest top 10 Premier League player valuations:

• 1st: Haaland, 180 million euros, no change.
• 2nd: Saka, 140 million euros, down by 10 million euros.
• Tied 2nd: Isak, 140 million euros, up by 20 million euros.
• 4th: Wirtz, 130 million euros, down by 10 million euros.
• 5th: Palmer, 120 million euros, unchanged.
• Tied 5th: Rice, 120 million euros, unchanged.
• 7th: Kessie, 100 million euros, increased by 10 million euros.
• Tied 7th: McAllister, 100 million euros, unchanged.
• 9th: Gravenberch, 90 million euros, up by 15 million euros.
• 10th: Rodri, 90 million euros, down by 20 million euros.

Besides Rodri, Foden’s value also dropped sharply from 100 million euros to 80 million euros, reducing the number of Premier League players valued at 100 million euros from 9 to 8, and Manchester City’s from 3 to just 1.

In my opinion, a 20 million euro drop for Rodri and Foden is understandable, but it’s worth noting that Foden has been performing well recently and Rodri has just returned from injury. It’s puzzling why Real Madrid midfielder Bellingham, despite poor form this season, still maintains a valuation of 180 million euros.
