MU plans a surprising transfer move at the beginning of 2026

Although MU invested heavily during the Summer 2025 transfer period, they are reportedly planning a daring move to sign a young Real Madrid talent in the upcoming Winter transfer window.

MU is ready to sign Endrick in January 2026

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is facing mounting pressure as his team has performed poorly in the early part of the season.

Nearly a year after taking charge of the "Red Devils," the Portuguese coach has yet to restore Old Trafford's team to its former stature, making his future at Manchester a widely discussed topic in the British media.

Last summer, Manchester United spent heavily in the transfer market, signing several new players such as Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Šeško, and Bryan Mbeumo. Nevertheless, the team's performances have fallen short of expectations. In this context, the club’s management is planning a bold move in the upcoming Winter transfer window — targeting a young star from Real Madrid.

MU is ready to sign Endrick in January 2026

According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United is among the clubs pursuing Endrick, the young Brazilian talent at Real Madrid. The 19-year-old is expected to leave Bernabéu on loan in January after completely losing his place in coach Xabi Alonso’s plans. Endrick has not played any minutes this season, and eight clubs are closely watching his situation with the intention to negotiate a loan deal early next year.

Endrick joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in 2024 after scoring 21 goals in 82 matches for his home club. In his first season with the Royal team, he scored 7 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions. However, since Alonso took over, the young player has had no opportunity to compete in Real’s star-studded attack, which includes Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Junior, and Rodrygo.

CaughtOffside reports that it is very likely Endrick will temporarily leave Madrid when the Winter transfer window opens. Manchester United is seen as one of the potential destinations since Amorim wants to add pace and breakthrough ability to the attack. However, not only the "Red Devils," but many other clubs in the Premier League and Europe are also eyeing this young forward, who has made 14 appearances for Brazil at the international level.

If the deal goes through, it could represent a crucial turning point for both sides: Endrick will have the chance to play regularly and continue his development, while Manchester United will gain a young, talented player in their journey to reclaim past glory.
