Vietnam Futsal officially identifies its opponents for SEA Games 33

Both the men's and women's futsal teams of Vietnam have confirmed their opponents for the group stage of SEA Games 33 after the recent group draw ceremony.

Vietnam women's futsal team shares a group with Myanmar and Indonesia

The draw for the futsal events at SEA Games 33 was recently conducted in Thailand. As a result, the Vietnam women's futsal team was placed in Group B with Myanmar and Indonesia, while Group A includes Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

In their group, Coach Truong Quoc Tuan’s team is seen as having a strong chance to reach the semifinals, but they cannot afford to be complacent against the other two opponents. Myanmar currently holds the 48th position globally, just behind Vietnam at 42nd, and has consistently been a challenging opponent in recent SEA Games. Their playstyle, emphasizing physical strength and disciplined defense, makes Myanmar a tough adversary.
