Antony's transformation at Betis far surpasses his time at Manchester United.

The Brazilian winger netted a brace to earn Real Betis an important draw at the home of third-ranked Villarreal.

This brilliant performance is even more remarkable considering Antony had revived his career at Betis on loan during the latter half of last season, contributing to 14 goal involvements. Despite interest from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, he was determined to return to Betis on a permanent deal and immediately proved to be a valuable signing.

With his brace against Villarreal, Antony helped Real Betis extend their unbeaten streak to seven matches across all competitions. It’s no surprise he was named Man of the Match.
