(Football results) - Victor Osimhen scored twice to help Galatasaray defeat Bodø/Glimt 3-1, continuing their excellent form in the 2025/26 Champions League and reinforcing their dominance at home in Rams Park.
Galatasaray maintained their outstanding performance in the 2025/26 Champions League by beating Bodø/Glimt 3-1 at Rams Park, with Victor Osimhen shining brightly by netting a brace. This marks the Turkish side’s second consecutive win in European competition, after previously winning only 1 out of 18 group stage matches.
The home team wasted no time making an impact. In the 3rd minute, Mario Lemina delivered a clever through ball for Osimhen, who sprinted forward and calmly finished past goalkeeper Nikita Haikin, opening the scoring to the roaring crowd at Rams Park. Galatasaray kept control of the game as Osimhen continuously troubled the opposing defense, forcing Haikin to make two crucial saves from Leroy Sané’s crosses.

Bodø/Glimt tried to regain control but lacked precision in finishing. In the 33rd minute, Fredrik Bjørkan’s careless back pass allowed Osimhen to steal the ball, beat Haikin, and comfortably double the lead. Before halftime, the Norwegian side had a chance to reduce the deficit, but Sondre Brunstad Fet’s shot hit the post.
The second half saw Galatasaray play with ease but remain effective. After Osimhen intercepted a pass from Haitam Aleesami, Yunus Akgün capitalized on the opportunity to score, making it 3-0. Although Andreas Helmersen pulled one back for Bodø/Glimt in the 76th minute, it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
With a 3-1 victory, Galatasaray extended their streak to 23 matches with only 2 losses across all competitions, climbing to the top group positions. Thanks to Osimhen’s impressive brace and all-around performance, Victor Osimhen was named Man of the Match according to Flashscore’s vote.
