The 10th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season will feature many exciting matches, and recently, living legend Alan Shearer shared his predictions for major clubs like MU, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, and Arsenal. However, Shearer's forecasts have caused concern among MU and Liverpool fans.
Nottingham Forest hosting MU and Arsenal visiting Burnley are the earliest fixtures in the 10th round of the 2025/26 Premier League.
Former Newcastle striker Alan Shearer believes that this team is capable of ending Ruben Amorim’s side’s current winning streak: "After their victory over Porto in the Europa League, Sean Dyche’s Nottingham struggled against Bournemouth, but they will have home advantage against MU. That will be a crucial factor. Meanwhile, MU has had a week off after an early Carabao Cup exit. From my perspective, Nottingham has performed very well against MU in recent home matches. This time, I believe they will secure a point against the Red Devils."
Alan Shearer continued: "In the Burnley versus Arsenal match, Burnley has a slight advantage playing at home, and they will make things difficult for their opponents. We saw what they did to Liverpool earlier this season. Against stronger teams, Burnley will try to defend deeply and trouble the opposition with counterattacks. They had a fantastic result last weekend, scoring a last-minute goal against Wolves. However, Arsenal is in very good form and knows how to overcome tough situations. Therefore, I still believe Arsenal will win.”
In other notable matches, Tottenham will face Chelsea, Man City will host Bournemouth, and Liverpool will play against Aston Villa. Regarding these games, Alan Shearer gives Man City fans great hope: "To be fair, Chelsea has recently achieved good results against Tottenham. But since Tottenham is playing at home and has started well under Thomas Frank, I think this match will end in a draw.
I also predict Aston Villa will defeat Liverpool. If they continue to play as they did when beating Man City, I believe they will take all three points. Bournemouth started the season strongly, but they won’t get a good result at Etihad. Man City is very strong right now, and Erling Haaland is in great form. Therefore, I expect Man City to win.”
