Before Round 10 of V-League: The Intense Competition

The V-League is heating up with two battles unfolding at both ends of the standings: the championship race and the relegation fight.

At Ha Tinh stadium, Hong Linh Ha Tinh (12 points) faces Hoang Anh Gia Lai (7 points) – currently at the bottom of the table. Although the squad is not as strong as last season, the stability in their playing style and the form of coach Nguyen Cong Manh’s team remain quite solid. For this reason, it is expected to be a very challenging match for HAGL, even if the visitors likely aim only to secure a point.

Hanoi FC (11 points) – the recent conqueror of Ha Tinh – will return home to host another team from the lower end, the newcomer PVF CAND (7 points). Hosting a lower-ranked opponent presents a good opportunity for Hanoi’s forwards to recalibrate their aim and fight for 3 points to gradually rejoin the top 5 race.

Newcomer Ninh Binh FC (21 points), currently leading the table, will surely aim for victory against SLNA (7 points). Securing a draw on the field of a high-performing title contender like Ninh Binh will be much more difficult than previous matches for coach Van Sy Son’s team.

At Binh Duong stadium, Becamex TPHCM (8 points) meets Hai Phong (17 points) in a highly anticipated match. The port city team is showing impressive form with three consecutive wins. With such consistency, Hai Phong deserves to be seen as an interesting phenomenon so far and can be considered slightly favored over Becamex TPHCM despite playing away.

At Hoa Xuan stadium, SHB Da Nang (7 points) is considered the underdog against CAHCM (14 points). Although they recently lost 1-2 to Hai Phong, overall CAHCM is still regarded as the favorite, possessing more players capable of decisive explosive performances compared to Da Nang. In other words, even earning a point in this match would be a positive outcome for the home team!

Due to the international schedule conflicts of Nam Dinh and CAHN, the matches Dong A Thanh Hoa vs Cong an Hanoi and The Cong Viettel vs Thep Xanh Nam Dinh in Round 10 of V.League 1-2025/26 will be played on February 24, 2026.
