
According to "Football" sources, Shao Jiayi is set to become the new head coach of China's men's national team, bringing foreign coaches with him.
Shao Jiayi, 45 years old and a former Chinese international, has worked as an assistant coach for the national team and led the U19 and U20 national teams. Since July 2024, he has been the head coach of Qingdao West Coast, guiding the team to a 10th place finish in the 2024 season. After 29 rounds of the current Chinese Super League, Qingdao West Coast stands ninth in the standings.
