Ancelotti highly praises Brazil's number one football prodigy

Coach Carlo Ancelotti applauds young talent Estevao following the 2-0 victory over Senegal, affirming that Brazil's future is secured thanks to the development of the next generation of players.

The Brazil national team had a very positive start in this month's FIFA fixtures by winning 2-0 against Senegal. The result not only demonstrated consistency in their gameplay but also highlighted the brilliance of young talent Estevao, who scored one of the goals and continued to prove his worth at the international level.

After the match, Coach Carlo Ancelotti gave special praise to the 17-year-old player, emphasizing that Brazilian football possesses a very promising upcoming generation.

“Estevao has extraordinary talent. It's unbelievable that such a young player possesses such technique, confidence, and a powerful shot. With players like him, Brazil's future is guaranteed,” Ancelotti stated.

The introduction of Estevao into the Selecao lineup is seen as a strategic move to rejuvenate the team and add more attacking options. In the match against Senegal, the young forward played proactively, full of enthusiasm, and demonstrated ball-handling skills far beyond his 17 years, leading Ancelotti to regard him as a key piece for the long journey ahead.

In his overall match assessment, Ancelotti expressed satisfaction with how the team controlled the game in the first half. Brazil pressed high, set the tempo, and created numerous dangerous chances. However, in the second half, their initiative waned as they played deeper and showed impatience in ball possession.

“The first half was very good, with high intensity, constant pressure, and necessary aggression. In the second half, we defended low effectively but tried to counterattack too much. Leading 2-0, the team could have managed the ball better. That is something we need to improve,” he analyzed.

Besides Estevao, defender Eder Militao also received special praise from the Italian coach. Positioned as right-back, a role not his usual, Militao still performed excellently, forming a harmonious duo with Estevao on the right flank.

“The Militao–Estevao duo combined very well. Militao is currently in excellent physical and mental condition. Two years of interrupted play have helped him mature significantly. With this attitude, he can play any defensive position,”Ancelotti commented.

With Militao’s maturity, Estevao’s breakout, and the victory over Senegal, Brazil has reason to be optimistic about pursuing bigger goals soon. This win not only holds professional value but also helps Coach Ancelotti better shape the future core of the Selecao.
