Coach Mai Đức Chung: 'The female football referees at this year's SEA Games are substandard'

Coach Mai Đức Chung was extremely disappointed and upset after the defeat to the Philippines women's team in the SEA Games 33 final. He also candidly pointed out the poor refereeing during this SEA Games.

"All referees officiating women's football at this year's SEA Games were inaccurate. Especially in the two matches between Vietnam and the Philippines. In the group stage, no penalty was called, and today a goal that was not offside was ruled offside," stated Coach Mai Đức Chung.

He added: "Today, the Vietnam women's team played very tenaciously and followed the coaching staff's tactical plan well.
