Phong Phú Hà Nam secured 3 points in the opening match of the National U19 Women's Championship

Ngân Thị Thanh Hiếu’s goal was crucial in leading Phong Phú Hà Nam to a significant win against Hà Nội in the opening round of the National U19 Women's Football Championship.

On the afternoon of January 7th, at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center stadium the opening ceremony and the first round matches of the National U19 Women's Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2026 took place.

The National U19 Women's Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2026 features participation from 5 teams, including: Phong Phú Hà Nam, Ho Chi Minh City, Thái Nguyên T&T, Hà Nội, and Vietnam Coal and Mineral. The teams compete in a double round-robin format (home and away). Specifically, the first leg runs from January 7 to January 20, 2026, at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center; the second leg takes place from January 27 to February 7, 2026, at Hà Nam Stadium (Ninh Bình province).

Immediately following the opening ceremony, the first match featured a showdown between Phong Phú Hà Nam and Hà Nội. The battle between these two title contenders was intense, dramatic, and unpredictable. Hà Nội maintained significant pressure, but Phong Phú Hà Nam made the difference with an individual moment of brilliance.

In the 37th minute, Ngân Thị Thanh Hiếu unleashed a long-range shot from outside the penalty area to open the scoring for Phong Phú Hà Nam. This strike was stunning and left Hà Nội's goalkeeper with no chance to save it.

In the second half, Hà Nội pushed forward aggressively to seek an equalizer. However, Phong Phú Hà Nam organized their defense effectively. Their backline remained focused and made no mistakes. The 1-0 scoreline was maintained, securing 3 points for Phong Phú Hà Nam on their debut.
