A late effort only allowed Al Nassr to reduce the deficit to 1-2 with a penalty goal scored by Ronaldo. This loss officially extended Al-Nassr's gap behind Al-Hilal to 4 points in the standings, increasing the pressure in the 2025–2026 title race.
