With Beijing suffering a last-second defeat by Shandong, Guangsha defeating Xinjiang, and Liaoning achieving a big win, the latest CBA standings have been released.

On January 10th Beijing time, the CBA regular season continued with four games concluding last night. Ningbo comfortably beat Tongxi 94-71, Jiangsu was soundly defeated 71-88 by the traditional heavyweight Liaoning, Beijing was upset 85-87 by Shandong, and Guangsha’s balanced attack led to an 87-72 win over Xinjiang. Consequently, the latest standings place Guangsha second, Beijing fourth, Liaoning seventh with a three-game winning streak, Ningbo eighth, Shandong tenth with five straight wins, and Jiangsu nineteenth with seven consecutive losses!

Ningbo faced Tongxi. This season, Ningbo has transformed from a bottom team to a stronger contender, consistently showing strong performances and securing a spot in the playoffs. In this round against Tongxi, Ningbo dominated with a full-team effort, controlling both offense and defense, steadily increasing the lead. Ultimately, Ningbo overwhelmed Tongxi for an easy victory, showing potential as a dark horse!

Jiangsu played against Liaoning. Facing a Jiangsu team on a six-game losing streak, Liaoning had little pressure. Guangsha faced Xinjiang. After suffering a 20-point loss to Shanghai in the previous round, Guangsha played back-to-back games against the strong Xinjiang team in a key matchup. Xinjiang has struggled this season with poor results, even leading to their coach’s dismissal. From the start, Xinjiang appeared sluggish, missing many shots and struggling to score.
