The Ho Chi Minh City women’s team is set to play against North Korea’s Naegohyang Women’s FC in the quarterfinal round of the 2025/26 AFC Women's Club Championship.

The AFC applies a group protection rule, meaning teams that faced each other in the group stage will not meet again in the quarterfinals. Furthermore, top-seeded teams will host the quarterfinal matches. The four winners will advance to the centralized final round, where semifinals and finals will be held from May 20 to May 23, 2026, to determine the champion.
