With Liaoning losing to Shenzhen, Shanghai defeating Xinjiang, and Beijing beating Ningbo, the latest CBA standings have been released.

On January 19th Beijing time, the CBA regular season proceeded with five games completed last night. Liaoning fell short to Shenzhen 83-87, Shanghai triumphed over Xinjiang 80-70, Shanxi bested Fujian 104-83, Beijing prevailed against Ningbo 94-86, and Tianjin secured a win against Tongxi 102-94. Liaoning faced Shenzhen. The match was highly competitive, with Liaoning mounting a stronger offense and gaining the lead at times, but ultimately they were defeated by Shenzhen!

Shanghai played against Xinjiang. Both teams struggled with shooting accuracy in the first quarter, with Xinjiang briefly holding a 4-point lead. This game saw two key players, Zhao Rui and Zhou Qi, absent, making the challenge tougher against the rapidly improving Ningbo. Both teams played well in the first half, ending tied at 47. In the second half, Ningbo’s offense stalled, allowing Beijing to gradually pull ahead. However, Ningbo kept close on the scoreboard.
