The financial strength of the Premier League is extraordinary at present, with clubs fighting relegation able to match the purchasing power of champions in other competitions. Bournemouth aims to sign Lazio's reserve goalkeeper, who hasn't played in Serie A this season and is valued at 5 million euros, for an overall cost of 20 million euros. Lazio stands to gain a good profit from this transfer.
According to the latest report from Italian transfer expert Romano, Bournemouth plans to bring in Lazio’s backup goalkeeper Mandas on a loan-to-buy deal. The two clubs have reached an agreement for a loan with an option to purchase, totaling 20 million euros, including potential bonuses.

Mandas joined Lazio in the summer 2023 transfer window for a fee of 1.3 million euros. So far, he has made 33 appearances for the Biancocelesti, keeping 13 clean sheets. Lazio will make a decent profit by selling Mandas.

Mandas is currently 24 years old, stands 1.89 meters tall, is right-footed, and is contracted with Lazio until 2029. Transfermarkt values him at 5 million euros. This season, Mandas has only played once for Lazio (in the Coppa Italia), keeping a clean sheet, with zero appearances in Serie A. Therefore, selling Mandas will have little impact on Lazio; it’s simply a case of offloading a fringe player to raise funds for strengthening the squad.
