The Premier League boasts the greatest wealth and purchasing power, continuously buying players to enhance the league, now standing as the leading league among the five major European competitions. After seven rounds in the Champions League, five Premier League teams are in the top eight qualifying spots, while Manchester City sits at 11th, the lowest Premier League position in the Champions League rankings.
According to official announcements from Premier League Big Six club Tottenham, the team has secured a long-term deal with 19-year-old Brazilian full-back Sosa from Santos. Previously, Romano reported that Tottenham paid a transfer fee of €15 million for Sosa, whose market value on Transfermarkt is €5 million.

Sosa is a product of Santos’ youth academy, joining the club at age nine and excelling through the youth ranks. He was promoted to the first team for the 2024 season and has since played 38 matches for Santos’ senior side, scoring once and providing four assists.

Now 19 years old, Sosa stands 1.83 meters tall, is left-footed, and primarily plays as a left-back. He made his Santos debut in January last year and his Brazilian Serie A debut in May. Last season, he appeared 24 times, starting 19 matches and totaling 1,641 minutes on the pitch, contributing one goal and two assists. Sosa is also a Brazil U17 international, with 12 appearances, including five matches in the U17 World Cup, helping the team reach the quarterfinals!
Fans jokingly ask, could this be the new Bale? Seemingly a left-back, but actually a left winger!
