Vietnam's U15 women's team concludes a high-quality training tour in Australia

Vietnam's U15 women's team placed 9th out of 14 in the final standings at the training tournament in Australia. The whole team will return home tonight (April 15).

According to information from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Vietnam U15 women's team completed their final matches on April 13 and 14, recording many positive signs in terms of technical performance.

Before departing for home, on the afternoon of April 13, Vietnam's U15 women's team proceeded to their next match against U15 women's Capital Football.

In the 4th minute, Truong Khanh Chi broke away to receive a teammate's pass and shot near the corner, opening the score 1-0 after a situation where the opposing goalkeeper handled poorly.

In the 17th minute, Quynh Lam made an effortful dribble down the wing, bypassed the opponent's defender before delivering a favorable pass for Khanh Chi to finish accurately, raising the score to 2-0.

In the second half, at minute 53, Khanh Chi continued to demonstrate impressive pressing ability by applying high-pressure tactics, regaining possession and combining with teammates to score, increasing the lead to 3-0.

At minute 56, Vietnam's U15 women's team conceded a goal after a lapse of concentration on the left flank. The opposing striker shot dangerously into the far corner, the ball going beyond goalkeeper Hong Anh's reach, narrowing the score to 1-3.

Two minutes later, the Vietnamese players quickly re-established their dominance. From a high-pressure pressing situation, the ball was sent behind the opponent's defensive line and Khanh Chi executed a decisive shot into the near corner, securing a 4-1 victory.

By the afternoon of April 14, Vietnam's U15 women's team entered the 9th/10th place ranking match against NSW Regional. The team played dominantly and created many dangerous opportunities. At minute 21, from a left-wing corner kick by Kim Binh, Ma Ngoc Anh capitalized well on a chaotic situation inside the penalty area to head in the opening goal, making it 1-0.

In the second half, Vietnam's U15 women's team continued to maintain an active and dominant stance, generating more opportunities but could not add further goals. Ultimately, the team secured a 1-0 win.
