Regarding his player's condition, Arteta stated: “It's an issue he's been dealing with for some time. Things are progressing, hopefully it will take just a few days, not weeks. But we must monitor his response as training intensity increases.”

The Spanish coach also admitted that the absence of several key players is significantly affecting the team: “We have lost 4-5 important players for several weeks. At this stage of the season, having a full squad is extremely crucial.”

Not only Saka, Arsenal is also concerned about the fitness of Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber. However, Arteta dismissed fans' dissatisfaction with the club's injury updates, asserting that most still support the team.

Currently, the Gunners face a massive challenge heading to Etihad Stadium. Although leading the Premier League by 6 points, a defeat to Man City could significantly narrow this advantage, especially since the opponent still has a postponed match in hand.

As the title race enters its decisive phase, Saka's return is seen as a key factor if Arsenal aims to maintain their top position and move closer to the championship.
