Former assistant of Park Hang Seo, Mr. Bae Ji Won, arrived in Vietnam yesterday after accepting the role of head coach for Ninh Binh Club until the end of the 2025/26 season.

After securing 6 points away, Ninh Binh Club returns home to host PVF-CAND, the team currently ranked 13th in Round 19, at 18:00 on April 18.
Against this opponent, Ninh Binh is expected to achieve a third consecutive victory to pressure the second-place position of The Cong Viettel.
Currently, Coach Bae Ji Won is in Vietnam, and the club has submitted a registration to change the head coach position to VPF. He will replace Vu Tien Thanh to lead the team starting from the match against PVF-CAND on April 18, while Technical Director Tran Duy Quang shifts to an assistant role.
15 Players Suspended in Round 19 of V-League
Round 19 of the 2025/26 V-League records up to 15 players suspended due to card penalties. Coach Velizar Popov of The Cong Viettel also cannot direct due to disciplinary action for reacting to the referee.
The two teams most heavily affected are Dong A Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City Police, each missing 3 players.
Thanh Hoa lacks: Damoth Thongkhamsavath, Doan Ngoc Ha, Doan Ngoc Tan. Ho Chi Minh City Police misses Nascimento, Vo Huu Viet Hoang, Le Quang Hung.
Other teams missing 2 players include: Hong Linh Ha Tinh (Le Viktor, Nguyen Van Hanh); SHB Da Nang (Le Vu Quoc Nhat, Vo Nguyen Hoang); Hanoi Police (Doan Van Hau, Bui Hoang Viet Anh).
The absence of key pillars like Van Hau and Viet Anh causes Hanoi Police many difficulties in defense.
Players suspended include: Elisha Bruce (Ho Chi Minh City), Dam Tien Dung (Hai Phong), and Nguyen Xuan Binh (SLNA).

Nguyen Dinh Bac Wants to Play Overseas
At the Contribution Awards ceremony organized by the Sports & Culture Newspaper (TTXVN) last night, forward Nguyen Dinh Bac was honored as the Young Sports Figure of the Year.
"Personally, I will strive to do my best, to express my best qualities on the field to cooperate with teammates and the coaching staff, contributing more to Vietnamese football.
My dream of playing overseas has existed for a long time. I also don't know what difficulties await me ahead.
For now, I only know to try to do the best I can to seek success abroad, which will also be a foundation for future generations.
I hope after this season I can play overseas, and having more players going abroad will help Vietnamese football develop further," Dinh Bac expressed.

Closing of AFC/VFF C Certificate Coaching Course
The AFC/VFF "C" Certificate coaching course organized by the Vietnam Football Federation in cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports from April 2–14 has officially concluded.
The course attracted 24 participants including staff, physical education teachers, and former students, showing the increasing prestige of the coaching training program implemented by VFF.
Representing the instructors, Mr. Dang Van Thanh praised the serious learning spirit of the participants and affirmed the program is built according to AFC standards, helping access modern coaching methods.
Class leader Pham Ngoc Uyen expressed gratitude to VFF and the organizers, and committed to effectively applying the knowledge into local football training work.
