Thai national team wins FIFA championship, receives 'huge' reward from Madam Pang

The Thai women's national team clinched the FIFA Series 2026 title after a 2-0 victory over DR Congo, immediately receiving a hot reward of 500,000 baht from Madam Pang to acknowledge their impressive achievement.

The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) made a strong gesture of encouragement when President Nualphan Lamsam (Madam Pang) awarded 500,000 baht to the women's national team after winning the FIFA Series 2026 championship right at home. The reward was announced immediately after the final match, as recognition for the impressive journey of "Chaba Kaew".

In the decisive match, the women's national team Thailand overcame DR Congo with a score of 2-0, thus concluding the tournament with a convincing championship. Despite a stalemate in the first half against the opponent's crowded defense, Thailand still controlled the game and persistently imposed their familiar high-speed attacking style.

The turning point came in the 60th minute when Matilda Mortensson leaped high for a precise header from a corner situation, opening the score for the home team. The goal helped Thailand relieve pressure, while also making the game more open as DR Congo had to push forward to seek opportunities.
