Defender Đoàn Văn Hậu officially extends contract with CAHN Club until 2029.
On the morning of April 16, CAHN Club held a contract extension ceremony for players Đoàn Văn Hậu, Trần Đình Trọng, Lê Phạm Thành Long and foreign player Alan Grafite.
For Đoàn Văn Hậu, this is seen as a deserved reward for his relentless efforts after a long period struggling with injury. Having been sidelined for over two years due to persistent heel issues, the 1999-born player endured a challenging recovery journey. Initially, he opted for non-surgical treatment, but it did not yield the expected results.
By March 2024, Văn Hậu had to undergo surgery, followed by multiple trips to Singapore and South Korea for definitive treatment.
His perseverance paid off when Văn Hậu returned to play from late 2025 and quickly regained his form. In the CAHN jersey, he demonstrated versatility by performing well both as a center-back and a full-back, while also providing effective offensive support. He consistently started matches and earned significant trust from coach Mano Polking and the coaching staff. Notably, after returning with CAHN, Văn Hậu also reappeared in the Vietnamese national team jersey.
The contract extension with Văn Hậu shows that CAHN continues to place trust in experienced pillars, aiming to compete for titles in upcoming seasons.
