Arsenal's top star sends a challenge to Man City

Declan Rice declares Arsenal is ready to defeat Manchester City, determined not to settle for a draw in the decisive match that could determine the Premier League championship.

Declan Rice has confidently spoken ahead of the major clash with Manchester City, affirming that Arsenal is prepared to fight wholeheartedly in the match that could decide this season's Premier League title.

Arsenal's morale is at a peak after securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League semifinals. The 0-0 draw against Sporting CP was enough for "The Gunners" to advance thanks to a narrow victory in the first leg. For Rice, this clearly demonstrates the team's growth under manager Mikel Arteta.

“I am truly very happy. We have progressed one step further compared to last season, and the next goal is reaching the final. Regardless of what others say, the important thing is that we have achieved it,” the English midfielder shared.

Heading to the visit at Etihad, Rice emphasized Arsenal has no intention of playing safely. Even though a draw could still help them maintain their advantage, the entire team still aims to secure a victory.

“We always want to win every match. That is the essence of football. I know myself and my teammates are all ready, so let's go out and fight,” Rice affirmed.

However, Arsenal cannot avoid concerns about their squad. Bukayo Saka is still racing against time to recover from an Achilles tendon injury, and his availability remains uncertain. The absence of this wing star has significantly impacted the team's performance recently.

Nevertheless, Rice believes pressure in the decisive stage is unavoidable for a big club. He trusts that Arsenal has enough character to overcome the challenge: “At a club like Arsenal, there is always pressure and attention. But we must focus on ourselves. No one hands you the title; you have to earn it yourself,” he added.

The clash with Man City this weekend is seen as a turning point of the season. A victory would bring Arsenal closer to the crown, while a slip-up could completely reverse the situation in the fierce race ahead.
