The "silent factor" behind Coach Kim Sang Sik's success, Coach Yoon Dong Heon continues to accompany the Vietnamese national team.
This assistant is receiving significant recognition in Vietnam. Coach Yoon Dong Heon, whose contract has expired, will be automatically renewed under the current terms, thereby continuing to work with the Vietnamese national team.
Currently, Coach Yoon Dong Heon serves as the fitness coach for the national team. However, his role extends beyond that.
He not only manages fitness but also analyzes player performance data and oversees performance management, thereby influencing the entire team's operational process. He is evaluated as expanding his scope from a fitness coach to a comprehensive coach.

Coach Yoon Dong Heon's development process shows a typical model of a coach who matured through practical experience.
With an AFC A license and FITNESS LEVEL 2 certification, he has a solid theoretical foundation and has accumulated extensive practical experience and data through championship wins in Hong Kong.
Particularly, while working at Kitchee Club (Hong Kong), he was directly responsible for data analysis, evolving into a coach who not only trains fitness but also designs performance strategies.
Head Coach Kim Sang Sik also openly expresses his trust in him. Coach Kim shared: "Coach Yoon Dong Heon is a coach who excels not only in fitness but also in data analysis. He plays a significant role in enhancing the team's performance."
This renewal is not merely about staying on. It carries greater significance as Coach Yoon's role increasingly expands within the modern and efficient coaching system that the Vietnamese national team aims for.
Incorporating tactical elements into fitness training, along with data analysis to evaluate player performance, has become a crucial pillar within the team.
Coach Yoon Dong Heon shared: "I am very happy to continue working with the Vietnamese national team. Being able to continue challenging myself at the national team level is already very meaningful. Based on the experience I have accumulated, I want to contribute even more to the development of the players and the entire team."
