Congratulations to Bayern Munich, the 5th signing of the summer window is here! The 55 million beast midfielder is secured, and a top-class winger is also joining simultaneously.

Congratulations to Bayern Munich, another major summer signing is here! Earlier, German Sky Sports reported that Bayern's deal to sign 28-year-old midfielder Palhinha is essentially complete, with only minor details left to finalize between Bayern and Fulham. It is said the contract will run until 2028, bringing this transfer saga to an end.

This is a transfer that has been delayed for a year! Last summer, Bayern coach Tuchel wanted to strengthen the midfield and targeted Palhinha. The deal was close to completion, with the player even flying to Munich for two rounds of medical checks. However, as the transfer window was closing, Fulham couldn't find a suitable replacement, so the transfer fell through. Tuchel remained frustrated about this failure, which also planted seeds of conflict with the club's management.

This summer, although Bayern's coach has changed to Kompany, interest in Palhinha has reignited. With the groundwork from last summer's negotiations, this deal has progressed smoothly overall. The player side is settled, and the two clubs negotiated over the transfer fee for a while but eventually reached an agreement. Based on last year's offer, the fee is expected to be around 65 million.

If everything goes smoothly, Palhinha will become Bayern's 5th signing this summer. The previous four are Ito Hiroki, Zaragoza, Olise, and Schib, but Palhinha is the major signing Bayern fans have long awaited. His arrival will significantly enhance the team's midfield solidity.

Palhinha's most impressive attribute is undoubtedly his defensive ability. Over the past two seasons, he has been the Premier League's top tackler, standing out distinctly. In the 22-23 season, he made 146 tackles, 46 more than the second place! Last season, he made 151 tackles, 23 more than the runner-up. Besides his exceptional tackling, Palhinha excels in other defensive aspects, making him the midfield shield every team dreams of.

Besides Palhinha, Crystal Palace winger Olise is also expected to join simultaneously. Journalist Edmund Brack confirmed that Olise's transfer to Bayern is 99% done, pending only the agent's commission details. The player will undergo Bayern's medical this week and sign until 2029. Bayern has sent documents to Crystal Palace to activate his release clause, with a transfer fee of 60 million euros.

After strengthening the midfield and forward line, Bayern will focus on the center-back position, with Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah as the primary target. Although the two clubs haven't agreed on the fee, they are very close. Tah's imminent arrival also accelerates De Ligt's departure process. Currently, Manchester United has formally contacted Bayern, with Bayern asking for 50 million euros.

However, since only Manchester United is interested in De Ligt, and the player is eager to join his mentor Ten Hag, there is room for the fee to decrease. United hopes to include浮动条款, meaning they are trying to lower the fixed fee. Once they persuade Bayern to accept the offer, United will have remaining capacity to quickly strengthen other positions.
