Assistant Coach Park Hang Seo Leads Ninh Bình Club

Assistant Coach of Park Hang Seo – Mr. Bae Ji Won yesterday held his first training session with the Ninh Bình players.

Mr. Bae Ji Won officially replaces Mr. Vũ Tiến Thành as the head coach of Ninh Bình Club. Meanwhile, Mr. Thành moves to the Technical Director role and was not present at this training session. Coach Bae's assistant is Coach Trần Duy Quang, a former HAGL player.

Mr. Bae Ji Won is an experienced Korean fitness expert who has left a significant mark on the development of Vietnamese football. He was a key assistant to Coach Park Hang Seo, contributing greatly to the success at the 2018 AFC U23 Championship and the 2018 AFF Cup victory.

Additionally, he possesses an impressive CV, having worked at Bournemouth U19 (England), clubs in the K League, the Malaysian national team, served as head coach at Thể Công Viettel, and currently at Ninh Bình Club.

Nam Định Club Extends Contracts with Three Key Players

The Steel Blue Nam Định Club has just announced contract extensions with several key players to stabilize the squad ahead of a crucial phase of the season.

Specifically, Lucas Alves will remain with the team until 2027, while Tô Văn Vũ and Romulo Machado will continue playing at Thiên Trường Stadium until 2028.

Nam Định Club is gradually regaining form since Coach Vũ Hồng Việt returned to the coaching bench. The team has won 4 out of its last 5 matches in the V League, thereby climbing to 7th place with 24 points.

In Round 19 of the 2025/2026 V League, Nam Định will visit Đà Nẵng Club's stadium at 18:00 on April 19.

Bầu Đức Aspires to Develop Youth Football

Mr. Đoàn Nguyên Đức (Bầu Đức) hopes the Gia Lai International U14 Football Festival 2026 will become a launchpad for discovering young talents, producing future players like Nguyễn Công Phượng or Nguyễn Quang Hải.

The Festival is co-organized by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, Hoàng Anh Gia Lai Club, and VFF, taking place from May 11–15 in Gia Lai.

The tournament gathers 5 domestic teams (HAGL, Hanoi, PVF, SLNA, Đồng Nai) and 7 youth football academies from Japan, Korea, Thailand, etc. Teams are divided into 3 groups, playing round-robin to select 8 teams for the quarter-finals.

Đà Nẵng Club Keeps Coach Lê Đức Tuấn

On April 16 afternoon, SHB Đà Nẵng Club announced its new management structure, notably the decision to retain Mr. Lê Đức Tuấn as head coach, instead of appointing Trần Minh Chiến as originally planned.

Coach Trần Minh Chiến had arrived in Đà Nẵng on April 15 to prepare to take over the team. However, because Mr. Lê Đức Tuấn still retains the trust of the players, the plan to change the head coach has been temporarily postponed.
