Coach Cristiano Roland affirmed that facing Australia U17 in the Southeast Asian Championship semifinal is a significant game for Vietnam U17, and the whole team is full of confidence.
"Australia is a very strong team. They have recently participated in a tournament in South America, and their players have played many matches. Through video analysis, we have also learned about the strength of Australia U17.
We have devised a plan to counter the opponent and also to have the best match against Australia U17. The Vietnamese players are very excited and ready for tomorrow's game.
For us, this is a very important match. This is a crucial moment for the team. Regarding preparation, we started 10 days before the tournament began. What is more important now is that the players are improving through each match.

Meeting Australia U17 is a big match for us. We always prepare the best so that the players can enjoy the game and also achieve a good result," Coach Roland answered at the pre-match press conference.
Meanwhile, midfielder Duy Khang shared: "Australia is a very strong team. But with the preparation provided by the coaching staff for the whole team, we are also ready to enter this match. The entire team will strive to achieve the best result for Vietnamese fans.
After the past three matches, both myself and the whole team have gained a lot of experience. Tomorrow's match is very important for the Vietnam U17 team. The whole team will try our best and follow the tactics set by the coaching staff to have the best match."
Coach Carl Veart of the Australia U17 team said: "Vietnam has players with very good individual technique, and they transition extremely quickly when switching states. That is something we must pay utmost attention to in setting up our defensive system.
In the recent matches, we controlled the game situation a lot. I do not expect the team to continue controlling the ball as much in this match. This will be a slightly different challenge for my players.

The players must maintain high concentration throughout the 90 minutes, without allowing any moments of lapse, to avoid giving opportunities to the opponent.
We have experienced three matches with truly different challenges. We know that Vietnam is a strong team compared to the teams we have faced, so this will be another challenge for my players.
We are very satisfied with our performance so far. This is very good preparation for us, not only for this tournament but also for the upcoming Asian U17 Championship.
I am very happy with the recent performances and know that we must elevate our game to a higher level. Tomorrow's match will definitely be very exciting."
