Vietnamese fans react strongly as Coach Park Sang Seo takes charge of a Thai club

The comeback of Park Hang-seo as a head coach is still drawing major interest from Vietnamese supporters, notably because he has chosen to manage a Thai team.

On the afternoon of May 25, Kanchanaburi officially announced Mr. Park Hang Seo as their new head coach of the club under a two-year contract. The South Korean tactician will take on the task of bringing Kanchanaburi back to Thai League 1 in the near future.

However, Mr. Park can only officially start work from the end of July as he is currently busy assisting the South Korean national team at the 2026 World Cup in his role as Vice Chairman of the Korea Football Association. During the waiting period, assistant Lee Jung Soo will temporarily take charge of the team.

Currently, in addition to his new job in Thailand, Coach Park Hang Seo still has a contract with Bac Ninh FC as a senior advisor.
