Bắc Ninh FC achieves a record-breaking landslide victory this season, ready for the V-League promotion playoff match.

Bắc Ninh FC recorded their most dominant victory of the season in the 2025-2026 National First Division, crushing CLB Thanh niên TP.HCM 8-0 on the Việt Yên pitch on the afternoon of May 24.

The match, part of round 20, was played under intense pressure for both sides. Bắc Ninh FC needed three points to keep pace in the promotion race, while the visiting team, Thanh niên TP.HCM, were desperate for points to maintain their hopes of avoiding relegation.

Playing at home with a spirited momentum, Bắc Ninh FC quickly took full control of the game right from the opening whistle. Just six minutes in, Ngân Văn Đại opened the scoring for the hosts with a decisive finish from a tight angle.

The early goal boosted the confidence and fluidity of coach Paulo Foiani's squad. Bắc Ninh FC continuously applied pressure, leaving Thanh niên TP.HCM's defense struggling to cope.

Between the 22nd and 24th minutes, Bruno Cunha shone brightly with a quick brace, extending the lead to 3-0. Both goals came from smooth combination plays, showcasing the class of a foreign striker who has spent many years competing in the V-League.

After the break, Bắc Ninh FC maintained their dominant play and did not slow down their attacking pace. Bruno Cunha remained the focal point, completing his hat-trick in the 51st minute before adding a fourth goal with a powerful shot in the 64th minute, putting the hosts ahead 5-0.

Following his explosive performance, the Brazilian striker was substituted off to rest, making way for Vũ Xuân Tín. However, Bắc Ninh FC's attacking power did not diminish.

Just minutes after entering the field, Xuân Tín immediately made his mark with a goal to make it 6-0 in the 78th minute. The striker then capitalized on the opponents' weary defense to complete his hat-trick with two more strikes in the 82nd and 89th minutes, sealing a devastating 8-0 victory for the Kinh Bắc team.

This is Bắc Ninh FC's biggest win of the season, and indeed the largest margin of victory seen so far in both the V-League and the First Division. The triumph solidifies the Kinh Bắc side's firm hold on second place in the 2025-2026 National First Division standings. In the next round, Bắc Ninh FC will travel to Quy Nhơn Stadium to face Quy Nhơn United at 4:00 PM on May 30.
