Manchester City will win every trophy even without Pep Guardiola

Erling Haaland affirms that Manchester City will still continue to conquer every trophy even though the glorious era of Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium has officially come to an end after 10 historic years.

During the domestic double victory parade held in Manchester, tens of thousands of fans poured onto the streets to thank Pep Guardiola and two key players, Bernardo Silva and John Stones. The event later continued spectacularly at the Co-op Live arena with over 19,000 attendees.

In addition to celebrating the successful season of the men's team, women's team, and youth academy, the biggest focus was the emotional farewell for Pep Guardiola who helped Man City claim up to 20 trophies during his decade in charge.

On stage, Erling Haaland delivered a powerful message about the future of the Manchester club in the post-Pep Guardiola era.

The Norwegian striker shared: “This has been a season of ups and downs, but we will keep fighting to win the biggest trophies. That has always been Man City’s goal.”

Haaland also paid tribute to Pep Guardiola and the teammates preparing to leave the club: “Playing alongside Bernardo Silva, John Stones, and especially Pep Guardiola has been incredible. They are true legends of the club.” During the ceremony, many former Man City stars such as Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho, Ederson, and Jack Grealish also returned to celebrate with their old club.

When stepping up to speak before thousands of fans, Pep Guardiola could not conceal his emotion: “Thank you all for coming here to say goodbye. From the very first day, I felt a special connection with this club. I will carry these memories with me for the rest of my life.”

Even though Pep Guardiola leaves, Haaland believes that Man City remains strong enough to maintain their dominant position and keep competing in all competitions in the seasons ahead.
