Supercomputer makes surprising prediction for Champions League final PSG vs Arsenal

BeSoccer's supercomputer considers PSG to be a more promising candidate than Arsenal for the 2025/26 Champions League final, although the difference is not significant.

The 2025/26 Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal is scheduled to kick off at 23:00 on Saturday, May 30, 2026 (Vietnam time) at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

This is a highly anticipated clash between two contrasting football philosophies. Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta's guidance, are aiming for a historic double after winning the Premier League, while Luis Enrique's proud squad are determined to defend their European crown and establish a new dynasty.

This is Arsenal's first return to the Champions League final since 2006.

Ahead of kickoff, the supercomputer from the renowned football data system BeSoccer has provided in-depth analysis of both teams' win probabilities during the 90 minutes of regular play.

BeSoccer supercomputer prediction percentages:

  • PSG victory: 46.5%

  • Arsenal victory: 30.6%

  • Draw rate (within 90 minutes): 22.9%

  • Exact score prediction: PSG wins 2-1

Historical head-to-head data also favors the French side. In last season's semi-finals, PSG halted the Gunners with a 3-1 aggregate (winning 1-0 at the Emirates and 2-1 at home) before crushing Inter Milan to claim the title. Broadly speaking, in their 7 historical encounters,, the two teams are perfectly balanced, with each side having 2 wins and 3 draws.

The reason PSG is considered the favorite is their superior attacking strength and bold playing style. On the other hand, Arsenal, despite possessing a very systematic and sharp style of play and having not lost any match in the Champions League this season, is severely affected by an injury crisis ahead of the big game.

Arsenal's defense is in a state of red alert as their top right-back Ben White is definitely absent due to a serious knee injury. Jurrien Timber's chances of starting are also very slim after more than two months out with an ankle injury.

PSG is aiming for a second consecutive Champions League title under Luis Enrique.

More seriously, in attack, the explosive winger Noni Madueke has just suffered a hamstring injury in the match against Crystal Palace in the Premier League last Sunday and is still awaiting medical test results.

On the other side of the battlefield, PSG also has some losses such as Achraf Hakimi or Ousmane Dembele whose availability is unclear, but the superior squad depth helps coach Luis Enrique easily fill the gaps. The French side is predicted to successfully defend their title in a close contest, leaving Arsenal's first European dream unfulfilled once again.
