OFFICIAL: Coach Vu Tien Thanh parts ways with Hoang Duc's team

Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh has officially bid farewell to Ninh Binh FC, returning to his role at Hoang Anh Gia Lai before the 2025/26 V.League campaign.

Ninh Binh FC recently posted an official announcement regarding the departure of Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh after his time working with the ancient capital team. In an emotional post, the club from the ancient capital expressed gratitude to the 1964-born coach for his significant contributions to both professional matters and building team spirit.

Ninh Binh highly appreciated Vu Tien Thanh's experience, sense of responsibility, and dedication during the period when the team aimed for long-term development. Although his tenure was not very long, the former HCMC coach left a strong mark by helping the club maintain stability and laying the foundation for plans to elevate the team in the upcoming season.

According to multiple sources, after departing from Ninh Binh, Vu Tien Thanh will return to work at Hoang Anh Gia Lai. At the mountain town club, he is expected to take on the role of Academy Director while also assisting with professional duties for the first team during the crucial period of the 2025/26 V.League season.

The return of Mr. Thanh is seen as a notable move by HAGL, as the club needs more experienced personnel to stabilize the situation. With his deep understanding of youth development and many years in professional football, he is expected to help the Pleiku-based team improve its professional outlook and strengthen the connection between the academy and the first team.

On the other hand, Ninh Binh FC has immediately initiated new personnel plans to prepare for the next season. The ancient capital team is reportedly aiming to add Chu Dinh Nghiem, a strategist who recently parted ways with Hai Phong after a long association and left a significant mark on the V.League.

However, according to close sources, Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem will not directly assume the head coach role for now. Ninh Binh's leadership continues to trust Bae Ji Won for the remainder of the season, while Mr. Nghiem will provide professional support and familiarize himself with the new environment. These consecutive personnel moves reflect Ninh Binh's great ambitions as they prepare to compete in the 2025/26 V.League.
